SNAGG Management Team

Ronald Wolff, Jr

President/CEO Ron started Lake Shore Cleaners, Inc. in 1979 as a small lawn mowing company and over the past 30 years he has turned his company into a successful multi-million dollar landscape firm. Ron oversees all operations and manages a staff of 28 employees. Lake Shore Cleaners, Inc., has never had to advertise their services because their reputation has spread by word of mouth and all of his clients have great respect for him being a person of his word. Ron recently found a puppy on a job site that was totally covered in ticks and decided to take it in. He took it to his local vet and had the dog treated for the ticks and they inserted a RFID chip into the dog for identification. When Ron took Tick home he thought if they can track a dog, why can't they track guns, tools, bikes, etc. He started to research the idea and found Don Baskin's company Snagg. Ron purchased Snagg from Don Baskin in March 2011 and started to market the RFID chip into new areas of sales besides musical instruments. Ron and Don are now working together to further educate the Police departments and Public on the importance of protecting all their assets for theft recovery.

Don Baskin

Chief Research Officer, also President of Baskin and Associates, Inc. Don began his career in music in 1964, as the co-founder of Syndicate of Sound. During that time, he co-wrote the hit song, "Little Girl". The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and Museum states that "Little Girl" was a pivotal song in the history of rock & roll. Today, this song is played every 20 minutes at the Hall of Fame. In 1996, Don entered into a licensing agreement with music's premiere trade publication, Billboard, to provide chart-related products to Top 10 charted Billboard musicians. Don's association with Billboard resulted in the creation of the only officially recognized, computer-based chart certification process for recognition and achievement in the music industry. In 1999, Don entered into an exclusive agreement with Fender to market a 'Top 10 Stratocaster'. Baskin & Associates own the rights to this instrument. Don began the SNAGG enterprise in March, 2000 when he realized that musical instrument theft could be greatly reduced by the effective deployment of RFID technology in musical instrument manufacture, or by retrofitting instruments with the SNAGG Microchip.

Bob Magnuson

He started in Minneapolis as a Sales Representative and then moved with increased responsibilities to Midland, MI, Detroit, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Tampa and back to San Francisco before retiring in 2003. Bob spent 15 years as Director Division Sales guiding the Sales and Marketing efforts in the Philadelphia, San Francisco and Tampa Divisions and leading the Tampa Division, the largest Division in the Country, to the “Golden K” award in 1994. Bob earned an MBA from St. Mary’s College in Moraga, CA in 1985 while Director of Division Sales in San Francisco.
After retiring, he founded Efficient Marketing Solutions, a successful Sales and Marketing Company and continues these efforts today. Bob joined Ron Wolff and Snagg early on in the negotiations phase with Don Baskin and saw the same growth opportunities as Ron did to extend the Business Model beyond the Musical Instrument Vertical and is currently providing Sales and Marketing expertise and support to Snagg.

Brian Schuh

Chief Information Officer, started his career in IT and electronics support at 14 years old. He spent his high school years supporting the high school’s IT infrastructure and attending college while working part time after school building computers. He graduated high school with only 3 classes remaining for his associates degree from Fox Valley Technical College. After school he found himself in a unique position to learn and build a variety of different businesses through his job at a local computer repair company. Over fourteen years in the IT field he was able to lead projects from large corporate restructuring to helping the small mom and pop idea move from a basement to million dollar warehouse. Over the years he has ventured out on his own, owning a variety of successful small businesses from a local tavern, a music entertainment company, to a mobile phone marketing company.
He has continued work in the IT field long enough to find Ron Wolff looking for help early in Snagg’s development. After hundreds of hours of work together Ron asked Brian to take Snagg on full time. The opportunity was a perfect fit, combining a large IT element with an entrepreneurial attitude to grow Snagg to what the team has envisioned.
